COUNCIL ACTION: Approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or Received: Code Enforcement Report for April 2022; the Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting Minutes of 10-21-21, and several pieces of correspondence from Police Chief Maierle and read aloud by Police Commissioner Ballard; Verbal reports from Doug Hartline from F & V, Street Administrator Sledz, and Water Commissioner Boelke. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 4/25/22 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $45.922.15 as presented; to approve the Special Event Permit Application from Armada PAL for a Four Corner Fundraiser on 5/22/22 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Unanimously approved: to increase Major Street Fund Expenditures of Account Number 463-801, Line Item Sub Contractor, by $43,000.00, bringing the total Estimated Fund Balance to $134,738.84; to increase General Fund Expenditures of Account Number 442-970, Line Item Capital Outlay, by $14,086.00, bringing the total Estimated Fund Balance to $696,073.78; to accept the Auditor’s Engagement Letter and to allow the Village Treasurer to sign on behalf of the Village. Motion Failed (3 Yeas, 4 Nays): to approve hourly wage rates effective May 10, 2022 for current part-time police officers as follows: $19.00 per hour for part-time police officers having 90 days or less of service to the Village; $20.00 per hour for part-time police officers having 90 days of service to the Village; $22.50 per hour for part-time police officer Jeffrey Gentner.
