A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 7:01 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To appoint Jeanne Langlois as Oakland Township Trustee effective March 1, 2023 and for the remainder of the existing term expiring November 2024.
4. To award the contract for the 2023 building demolition at Fox Nature Preserve to Oakwood Building Company Inc., the lowest qualified bidder, according to their February 1, 2023 bid for Option A, not including removal demolition of the overhang lean-to roof structure from the east and south sides of the wood block barn at a cost not-to-exceed $24,244.00.
5. To approve the proposal from Ekocite Architecture dated February 6, 2023, for the documentation, including laser scanning and as-built drawings, of the large green barn, the three farm outbuildings and the lean-to overhang of the large green barn at Fox Nature Preserve at a cost not-to-exceed $15,150.00.
6. To approve the purchase of a new I-Plan computer workstation for the Building Department from IPS quote #7507 for the amount not-to-exceed $14,360.00.
7. To approve the Charter Township of Oakland Participation in the 2023 Tri Party Limestone Program or Project #57202 and authorize the Supervisor to sign.
8. To adjourn the meeting at 8:23 PM.
