A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To remove, under Pending Business – Item #6) Building Department I-plan Table Purchase.
2. To approve the agenda as amended.
3. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
4. To approve the Public Transportation Agreement between Rochester Hills-Oakland-Rochester Older Persons’ Commission and Oakland County for the term and conditions as set forth therein and authorize the Township Supervisor along with the executive director of the Older Persons’s Commission to execute same.
5. To appoint Dave Mabry as the Oakland Township Clerk effective on February 14, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
6. To approve the substation camera equipment from American Video Transfer quote # 5732 at a cost not-to-exceed $16,870.00.
7. To authorize using Leslie Reinhart as an independent contractor and authorize the Supervisor to execute the same.
8. To establish a Historic District Study Committee for the purpose of researching the Schuette Oak Tree Historic District.
9. To approve to approve budget amendments #1-4 from the Budget Amendment Memo dated 02/08/2023. The net result for these amendments is zero change to the projected fund balance for the Land Preservation Fund.
10. To approve Resolution No. 23-03, a Resolution Regarding Amendment 4 to Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Agreement for Paint Creek Junction Northern Trailhead Project TF18-0098.
11. To adjourn the meeting at 8:25 PM.
