Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 3.0 Zoning Districts, Section 3.28 V-1 District Regulations, C. Building Requirements, 1. In no circumstance shall less than 2/3 (66.6 percent) of the entire parcel road frontage be occupied by the principal building.
Purpose of request:
To request a variance, which if granted would allow the applicant to not have to provide a 25-foot undisturbed greenbelt along state-regulated wetlands in a few portions of the parking lot, loading area and patio located on the northern side of the development area.
To request a variance, which if granted would allow the applicant to proceed with a site plan for a retail/office building that occupies less than 66.6% of the entire parcel road frontage based on 167.38 feet of the total 330.82 feet of frontage on Van Dyke containing a wetland and a stream.
