One vacancy in office of Trustee. Also present: Treasurer Anne Porter, Stacy Sobotka, Jo Adair, Kevin Grand, and Armada Fire Chief Chris Krotche.
COUNCIL ACTIONS: Unanimously approved meeting agenda, as amended by deletion of Presentation and New Business Item 3 A. Unanimously Approved Consent Agenda, as amended for correction of RCM Minutes of 03/27/23 and payment of bills totaling $45,262.79. Unanimously Approved: to approve the quote #230137 from UIS SCADA to replace the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) on the pump at Well House #7 for a total cost of $24,150.00 and allow the Water Commissioner to sign for the Village; to approve the purchase of a Ricoh IM C2500 Copier to be placed in the Police Department at a cost of $3,889.18 from Applied Innovation as budgeted for in the 2023/2024 Approved Budget; to allow the DPW Supervisor to advertise and hire a part-time DPW employee as allowed for in the 2023/2024 approved budget for thirty hours per week for thirty-five weeks, not to exceed $20 per hour; to approve the purchase of a Donnell Titan Pro Plus Leaf Loader and BN Leaf Box from Bell Equipment for a total cost not to exceed $83,414.00 as budgeted for in the 2023/2024 Approved Budget; to approve a two-year, non-residential, cross-connection and backflow prevention inspection contract with Hydro Corp, Inc. at a total cost of $5,796.00 (or $2,898.00 per year) and allow the Water Commissioner to sign for the Village; to approve a two-year, residential, cross-connection and backflow prevention inspection contract with Hydro Corp, Inc. at a total cost of $9,360.00 (or$4,680.00 per year) and allow the Water Commissioner to sign for the Village.
