On May 17, 2023, the Township Board of the Charter Township of Washington, Macomb County, Michigan, repealed in its entirety Washington Township Ordinance No. 107 being the Washington Township Cemetery Ordinance and adopted a new Washington Township Cemetery Ordinance being Ordinance No. 157, establishing regulations relating to the operation, control, maintenance and management of cemeteries owned, controlled and operated by the Charter Township of Washington and repealing any and all Resolutions or Ordinances in conflict therewith. The Ordinances shall become effective seven (7) days after the date of this publication. A copy of the Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 107 and the new Washington Township Cemetery Ordinance may be purchased or inspected during regular business hours at the Washington Township Clerk’s Office located at 57900 Van Dyke Avenue, Washington Township, MI 48094. A copy of the Ordinances are also available for inspection on the Washington Township website at www.washingtontownship.org.
