NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Washington Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday July 10th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., at 57900 Van Dyke, Washington Township Michigan 48094 in the Board Room of the Washington Township Municipal Building. The purpose of this meeting is to consider an appeal by:

By reason of:
Washington Township Zoning Ordinance Article 5.0 Site Standards, Variance requests from the following ordinance requirements:
• Section 5.12.F.8 – 8.5’ variance request on the north property line from the 10’ parking setback requirement and a 39.4ft front yard setback variance request from the 80ft requirement based on the table shown in Section 5.12.F.4.
• Section 5.12.F.15 – To allow for tandem parking.
• Section 5.12.H.2 – 1.5’ variance request from the 3’ high berm landscape screening requirement
• Section 5.12.H.3 – Frontage tree landscape requirement.
Purpose of request:
These requests, if granted, would allow the applicant to proceed to the Planning Commission with a site plan for the existing business, D&B Auto Sales, in which the applicant is proposing an expansion of the current display area for used car sales as well as moving the existing customer parking to the rear of the building. This request already received approval from the ZBA and Planning Commission in 2021, however, both approvals expired requiring the applicant to return to both the ZBA and PC.
