PUBLIC NOTICE – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL LAND USE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON

Notice is hereby given that there will be a Public Hearing before the Charter Township of Washington Planning Commission on Thursday, September 14th 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the Washington Township Board Room located in the Municipal Building at 57900 Van Dyke Washington Township, MI 48094 in which the general public will have an opportunity to comment during the public hearing portion of the meeting.

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear and receive comments related to a proposed Multi-Family Apartment Community Planned Unit Development submitted for review under Article 3.0 Zoning Districts, Section 3.17 Planned Unit Development, C. Review procedures, 2. Formal PUD application made by Tony Gallo with Gallo Companies which is located at 6303 26 Mile Road on the 2nd Floor in Washington Township Michigan, 48094.

Location: SE Corner of 27 Mile and Van Dyke

Total Combined Acreage: 8.8 +/-

Zoning: V-1 Village District

Proposed Request: 88-units within two buildings that are three

stories in height.

A copy of the Planned Unit Development submission is available on the Township Website (washingtontownship.org) on the Planning & Zoning Department page under the side tab labeled, “Upcoming PC Agenda Items”.

If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you can mail your comments in advance or drop them off at the Planning and Zoning Department inside the Washington Township Municipal Building prior to the date of the meeting. You may also email your comments up until the day of the meeting to: berschbackd@washingtontwpmi.org
