A public hearing on the library budget for the fiscal year starting January 1, 2024 will be held on August 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., at the Oakland Township Hall. A copy of the proposed budget will be available for review online and at the office of the Township Clerk on August 21, 2023 at noon. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. Note: Pursuant to a longstanding agreement, the Rochester Hills Public Library will be compensated for its services to Oakland Township in 2024 from an estimated 0.5744 mill tax levy – 1 mill Headlee reduced.
