Sisson Street Property and adding to New Business J. Use of Public Sidewalks – motion carried. Approval of Minutes – July 17, 2023 – motion carried. Approval of the Bills – motion carried. Special Presentations – None. Correspondences – none. Public Comments – None. Officer reports: President – report given, Clerk – report given, Treasurer – no report, Trustees- reports given, Planning Commission Ex-Ofico – No meeting. Committee reports- Cross Walk Project – No update; Bruce Sewer – did not meet; Fire/ALS Contract – conversations have started. Unfinished business: Road MILS/HRC Report – No report. Garbage RFP – tabled until next meeting; Tree Maintenance RFP – go back out for bids; Elected Officials Pay Ordinance(Requested by Trustee Parker) discussion on why we contract out services, no board action; Crosswalk Review/HRC- Presentation/Discussion from HRC; Romeo Cemetery(added by Trustee Fowler) discussion about Village property near Romeo Middle School-no board action; Sisson Street Property(added by Trustee Fowler) Board to decide on the sale of vacant parcel on Sisson Street-no board action. New Business: Adjournment – MJC Marketplace Alley Closure – motion failed; Parks and Rec Event Street Closure Request – motion carried; Tree Board Appointment- motion carried; Romeo Parks Citizen Task Force – motion carried to dissolve committee; 2024-2026 Macomb County Urban County Renewal Resolution – motion carried; DPW Office Equipment – motion carried to purchase; DPW Vehicle Purchase Request – motion failed to purchase, motion carried to order but no purchase; DDA Social District Research Committee – no board action; Social Media Policy – tabled until next month; Use of Public Sidewalk(added by Trustee Parker) discussion, item to go to Planning Commission for updates.
