Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Coenen, Clark, Boelke, Sledz, Shall, Adair. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Stacy Sobotka, Kevin Grand, and Andrew Cubitt.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received the F & V Report for August, 2023, the DPW Report for September, 2023, and the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of 8/21/23; verbal reports from Trustee Boelke, Sewer Commissioner Clark, Street Administrator Sledz, and Planning Commission Liaison Shall. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 9/11/23 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $18,035.64 as presented; to approve the Special Event Permit Application from the Armada Knights of Columbus October 6-8, 2023, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm to hold a four-corner fundraiser. Unanimously approved: to set a Public Hearing on the proposed ordinance amending Title VIII, Chapters 70-78 of the Armada Village Code of Ordinances for Monday, November 13, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. and authorize the Armada Clerk to publish notice of the Public Hearing in the official Village newspaper; to accept the Auditor’s Engagement Letter and to allow the Village Treasurer to sign on behalf of the Village.
