A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 7:00 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Jack Elder, Trustee; Jeanne Langlois, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee; Andy Zale, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as amended.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as amended.
3. To correct the typo in the draft minutes in Clerk Mabry’s report and Trustee Mangiapane’s report from the October 10, 2023 meeting.
4. To approve budget amendments #23-10 and #23-11 from the Budget Amendment Memo dated 10/13/2023.
5. To approve budget amendments #23-12 from the Budget Amendment Memo dated 10/17/2023.
6. To approve the execution of the Agreement for IT Services between Oakland County and Oakland Township and authorize the Township Supervisor to execute the same.
7. To accept the recommendation of the Charter Township of Oakland Parks and Recreation Commission and require Premier Group Associates, LLC, to perform all requirements under its Agreement with the Township to complete the Northern Trailhead Project dated May 4, 2021, as a condition of the Township remitting final payment for the services provided thereunder.
8. To approve the purchase of 8 radios as quoted on Quote 2321216 for the total sum of $65,228.56. The funds are to come from account 206-901-980.100.
9. To approve the expenditures for electrical to be installed in the storage building for Building Department, Maintenance Department and Parks and Recreation Department in the amount not-to-exceed $12,000.00.
10. To approve the second reading of the Amendments to the Charter Township of Oakland’s Tree Removal Permit Article II, Tree Protection, Preservation and Removal Chapter 389, Section 11, Article II Chapter 389, Section 13, and Article II, Chapter 389, Section 17, otherwise Resolution 23-24 and direct the Township Clerk to publish said Ordinance in accordance with State Law.
11. To adjourn the meeting at 8:40 PM.
