Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Coenen, Clark, Sledz, Adair, and Boelke. Absent: Shall and Ballard. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Stacy Sobotka, Amy Barzyk, Dawn LeVasseur, and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and Received: Treasurer’s Report, Code Enforcement Report, and the F & V Report for December 2023; Verbal Reports from the Water and Sewer Commissioners and the Street Administrator. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 12/18/23 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $60,426.87 as presented. Unanimously approved: to comply with Public Act 152 of 2011 by continuing the 80/20 option for the Village’s contribution to the cost of employee health insurance effective beginning February 1, 2024; to pay Edward Serwatowski $100.00 as a consultant fee for services rendered on 11-20-23; to comply with the President’s recommendation to appoint Jo Adair to the Cable Commission to a term ending December 31, 2026, subject to the appointee meeting the qualifications set forth in Chapter II of the Village Charter; to enter into Executive Session at 7:33 p.m. after a 5 minute recess; to approve employment agreement between the Village of Armada and David Wagner and authorize the President and Clerk to sign on behalf of the Village.
